The Health and Safety Event Round Up
05 May 2023
Last week the team have been at The Health & Safety Event at the NEC to showcase our complete health and safety platform plus to talk about our brand new Contractor Gateway feature to the 150,000 people that the organisers invite every year.
The team spoke to people from a range of sectors including retailers, infrastructure specialists, highways, government organisations, construction, automotive, water services, manufacturers, and safety consultancies. What was clear was the varying ways of managing health and safety in their workplaces currently.
The show kicked off and the crowds came through, they quickly spotted our vibrant on brand stand which peeked above our neighbours to see what our 'smart simple all in one safety software' offering was all about.
"Easy to use"
On day two the team delivered over 110 demos of our app to show visitors, what was really encouraging to hear was "it's very easy to use" after the demonstrations.
For all of those people it was the first time to see the app or portal for Work Wallet, and in a busy noisy environment for their consensus to be ease of use means a lot.
Visitors to The Health and Safety Event come from a really wide range of business operating environments, with our client base today which covers construction, civil engineering, manufacturing, warehousing, healthcare, safety consultancies, rail and a few more it's easy to demonstrate the breadth of use. Work Wallet really can be used is any sector, in any setting by anyone as demonstrated in our success stories.
Permit to Work gained a lot of interest from visitors, because the system makes it so easy to issue, check and track all of the permits issued on a daily basis. What visitors liked is the ability to build their own permit within our system so that it totally fits in with their workflows. Visitors could instantly see how hours of admin time would be saved and paper permits wouldn't get lost or left open.
Easy to adopt
Digitalisation of processes can seem a very daunting project to implement. However, once health and safety managers, operations directors, site managers, business owners, or any other position within an organisation can see Work Wallet in action, it removes the uncertainties.
Technology works when it's easy to implement, simple to provide training on and can demonstrate a clear improvement like saving time, decreasing accident rates, increasing data collection, centralisation of processes, better insights, and lots more. Visitors to our stand could clearly see how they could quickly make improvements to their safety culture.
It was also brilliant to welcome the visiting team from our client Freightliner (G+W), especially as Shane featured on our stand as one of the first users of Work Wallet within their organisation. To hear the team's feedback in person again was very welcome and proof of how well our client engagement team onboard and support every single Work Wallet user. Great stuff to hear for our team from people who are using the system every single day in a very high risk area.
If you missed us at the NEC don't worry, we'll be popping up at the Safety & Health Expo at Excel from the 16th to 18th May 2023 so you can come and see us there!
